Surrounded by hill stations, cities and places that have exquisite architecture, you will come across some breath-taking falls, mountains and hills that you can trek through, water bodies you can drive around or you can be part of the mountain biking and hiking groups that have some interesting activities always lined up. Karnataka is so beautifully surrounded by nature and related places that are both thrilling and spectacular.

Day 01  Bangalore


Upon arrival at Bangalore airport, meet with our driver, followed by transfer to hotel and check-in. Experience this Cosmopolitan city with its impressive Victorian-era architecture and with its lovely parks. It is also blessed with a pleasant climate and a burgeoning dining and shopping scene. Later in the afternoon explore this city starting with the visit of the elegant Tipu Sultan’s Palace – a fine specimen of military architecture from 18th century, notable for its teak pillars and ornamental frescoes. Continue to the Dravidian-style Bull Temple built in the 16th-century, and pass by the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, the Cubbon Park, a sprawling 120-hectare garden, surrounded by wonderful colonial architecture, including the red-painted Gothic-style State Central Library and the colossal neo-Dravidian-style Vidhana Soudha and neoclassical Attara Kacheri built in 1864 and now houses the High Court. Day 02   Hassan – Coorg (120kms/3hrs 

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Belur Temple and enroute to Coorg Hoysaleswara temple, also referred as the Halebidu temple, is a 12th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The temple was built on the banks of a large man-made lake, and sponsored by King Vishnuvardhana of the Hoysala Empire. Its construction started around 1121 CE and was complete in 1160 CE. Check into the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay.

 Day 03 Shivmogga – Jog Falls – Shivmogga (100kms/2 ½ hrs – one way 

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Jog Village. Jog Falls is created by the Sharavathi River falling from a height of 253 m (830 ft), making it the second-highest plunge waterfall in India. The Tourism Department has built steps from the view point till the bottom of the hill where the waterfall can be seen at the opposite side. There are approximately 1500 steps built to reach the bottom of the hill.Drive back to Shimoga. Later time free for Souvenir Shopping OR ENJOY A Safari at Tavvarekooda Tiger and Lion Park, if time suits. Overnights stay .

 Day 04: Shivmogga – Chikmangalore (100kms/21/2hrs) 

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and drive to Chikmangalore – a district in the state of Karnataka. Coffee was first cultivated in India in Chikmagalur. The mountains in Chikmagalur which are a part of the Western Ghats are the source of rivers like Tunga and Bhadra. Baba Budangiri is a mountain in the Baba Budan range of the Western Ghats of India, named after the person who is told to have carries coffee seeds to Chikmagalur. Located in the Chikkamagaluru taluk, Chikkamagaluru District of Karnataka, Baba Budangiri is known for its shrine to the Sufi saint Hazrat Dada Hayat Khalandar, a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Muslims. Rest of the day is free to enjoy the weather and indulge in resort activities..

Day 05: Chikmanagalore – Mysore  (190kms/5hrs 

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mysore, a city  situated at the foothills of Chamundi Hills, Known for its rich cultural heritage. Rearing silk worms is one of the major cottage industries of the district.Afternoon proceed for a city tour, visiting Mysore Palace, the former residence of the royal family of Mysore, – an extremely breath-taking example of the Indo-Sarcenic style of architecture. It was built in the year 1912 for the 24th Ruler of the Wodeyar Dynasty, and is till date one of the biggest palaces in the country.Chamundi Hills: Famous for Chamundeshawari temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari, an incarnation of Goddess Parvathi. At an altitude of 1065 meters, the temple on Chamundi Hill was built in 11th century. Back to the hotel for overnight stay

 Day 06: Mysore – Bangalore (160kms/4hrs) 

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Srirangapatanam. -the island fortress of Tipu Sultan and the early capital of the Mysore Wodiyars – Here you will find monuments such as Tipu’s mosque with its twin minarets built in 1787, Tipu’s Summer Palace – Daria Daulat Bagh, built completely on wood and converted into a museum. Also Visit, Ranganathaswamy temple, it time permits – the prominent Hindu shrines, which presents a brilliant example of architectural magnificence. Proceed to Bangalore. You will be transferred to airport or Railway station for your journey back home.
